MMS isn't supported in this country.

Alpha tags
Alpha tags allow you to use your brand name as your Sender ID instead of a number. Recipients cannot reply to messages sent using an alpha tag.

Alpha tag registration usually takes 5-6 weeks.
Registration requirements
When registering an alpha tag, you will need to provide:
Desired Alpha Tag (max 11 characters)
Company name
Sample message content
Website URL
Traffic type (Marketing, Transactional, OTP)
URL (if included in message body)
Dedicated short codes
Dedicated short codes are required for Two-Way SMS in Romania.
Short codes are subject to local network approval and URL whitelisting, especially for links in message bodies.
To purchase a dedicated number, please contact support.
Short code registration usually takes 12 weeks.

When purchasing a short code, you will need to provide:
Sender ID (max 11 characters)
Business details
Example message
Website URL
Traffic type (Marketing or Transactional)
Rules and best practices
Ensure recipients have opted in before sending
Always include a clear opt-out instruction such as Reply STOP to opt out
Messages with URLs must be whitelisted — especially shortened links (e.g. bit.ly, tinyurl)
Promotional/marketing messages may not be sent between 10 PM and 8 AM local time (GMT+2)
Operator regulations require an auto-reply SMS to every inbound message. This is a charged service.
Content guidelines
Before you start sending, carefully review our sending guidelines to understand the types of messages you can't send. Additionally, you must adhere to the specific local regulations outlined below:
No unlicensed or blacklisted gambling. Gambling content is only permitted if the sender is licensed in Romania, not listed on the government blacklist, and the recipient has explicitly opted in to receive gambling messages.
No unapproved URLs
