Alpha tags
Alpha tags allow you to use your brand name as your Sender ID instead of a number. Recipients cannot reply to messages sent using an alpha tag.

Some mobile networks may replace your alpha tag with a shared short code.
Short codes
Two-way messaging is supported in France with a short code.
You can choose to send using one of our shared short codes, or register a dedicated short code if you require high-volume traffic.
To purchase a short code, please contact support.
Short code registration usually takes 12β14 weeks and costs do apply.

Information on how you plan to use the number

Promotional Messages
SMS in France is categorised as either Transactional or Promotional.
If you're sending promotional messages like marketing campaigns or sales offers β here's what you need to know:
You can only send Monday to Saturday, between 8am - 10pm.
Your messages must include opt-out verbiage.
Messages will not be delivered on Sundays or bank holidays.
