Shared numbers

Shared numbers are free, ready to use, and don’t need registration. Messages will be sent from our pool of local Sender IDs, so the number might be different each time.

Shared numbers are recommended for one-way messaging only.

Dedicated numbers

Send from a trusted, local number. Your messages will always come from a consistent Sender ID, which is perfect for establishing trust and recognition.

To purchase a dedicated number, please contact support.

Dedicated number registration usually takes 2-3 business days.

Registration requirements

When purchasing a dedicated number, you will need to provide:

Alpha tags

Alpha tags allow you to use your brand name as your Sender ID instead of a number. Recipients cannot reply to messages sent using an alpha tag.

To register an alpha tag, please contact support.

Alpha tag registration usually takes 10 business days.

Registration requirements

Alpha tags are permitted only if registered in the AGCOM registry. Registration is limited to business users based in Italy who own the brand they intend to register.

To register an alpha tag in Italy, businesses must provide the following information:

  1. Desired Alpha Tag: The name you wish to use as the sender ID (maximum 11 characters, no spaces).

  2. Business Details: Including the legal business name.

  3. Example Messages: At least one example of the type of message you will send.

  4. Traffic Type: Specify whether the messages are transactional or marketing/promotional.

  5. Company Website URL: The official website of your business.

  6. Company VAT Number: Your business's VAT identification number.

  7. Company Address: The registered address of your business.

  8. PEC (Certified Email Address): A certified email address used by companies in Italy.

  9. Point of Contact: The name and email address of a contact person for your business.

  10. Fiscal Number: Your business's fiscal identification number.

Short codes

Short codes are 5-6 digits long and offer superior throughput — ideal if you plan to send a high volume of messages.

To purchase a short code, please contact support.

Short code registration usually takes 8-9 weeks.

  • No promotional messages are allowed between 9 pm and 9 am local time
