Shared numbers

Shared numbers are free, ready to use, and don’t need registration. Messages will be sent from our pool of local Sender IDs, so the number might be different each time.

Shared numbers are recommended for one-way messaging only.

Dedicated numbers

Send from a trusted, local number. Your messages will always come from a consistent Sender ID, which is perfect for establishing trust and recognition.

Dedicated number registration usually takes 2-3 weeks.

Registration requirements

When purchasing a dedicated number, you will need to provide:

  • Business name, address, and website

  • Contact email address and phone number

  • Information on how you plan to use the number

Alpha tags

Alpha tags allow you to use your brand name as your Sender ID instead of a number. Recipients cannot reply to messages sent using an alpha tag.

Own numbers

Send messages using your own number. Replies will go straight to your phone.

Content guidelines

Before sending SMS to Finland, please review our Sending Guidelines to understand prohibited message types. Additionally, you must adhere to the specific local regulations outlined below:

  • No "quick loan" services are permitted.

  • No adult services are permitted.

  • Numbers are intended for commercial use for person-to-application services, typically by businesses in Finland or the Nordics.

  • Applications that do not clearly specify the end client and describe how the number will be used will not be approved.

  • Gambling/Betting SMS that does not originate from licensed companies is not compliant with local Finnish laws.
