ClickSend Google Social Sign-On (SSO) Guide: Reset Password, Mobile App Workaround

Here is a guide to managing your account if you signed up using Google Social Sign-On (SSO).

How Google SSO Works (Password-Free Login)

If you signed up using your Google account, your account is password-free. We use your Google credentials to verify you.

  • How to Log In: Always click the "Log in with Google" button on the login screen. Do not type anything into the username or password fields.

Password Resets for Google SSO

Because your login is managed directly by Google, you cannot reset your password through ClickSend.

  • If you use the "Forgot Password" link on the ClickSend login page, the reset email will not work, or you may see an error message stating: "You can't reset your password with ClickSend. Try logging in with your Google account instead."

  • How to fix this: If you are locked out due to any issues with your email address, you must go directly to your Google Account settings (outside of ClickSend) and follow Google's steps to reset your Google password there.

  • Still can't log in with Google? If you are clicking "Log in with Google" but are still unable to access your ClickSend account, your account may be under review. Please check your email inbox (and your spam/junk folders) for any recent notifications from our team explaining your account status.

Limitations & The Mobile App

Important: The ClickSend mobile app does not support Google SSO. If you try to log in to the app using your Google email and password, you will receive an "incorrect username or password" error. This is because Google SSO accounts do not have a separate ClickSend password, which the app requires for login.

Workaround for Mobile Access: To access your account on a mobile device, please open a web browser (like Chrome or Safari) on your phone and log in to the dashboard (dashboard.clicksend.com) using the "Log in with Google" button. The dashboard is mobile-responsive.

Can I Switch to a Password Login?

Currently, you cannot self-convert a Google SSO account to a standard password account to use the app.
