Invoices, Receipts, and Billing Notifications

Whenever a payment is processed, whether through a manual top-up or auto top up, ClickSend automatically sends an email confirming the charge.

Does the email include the invoice?

The email typically doesn't include the official invoice as a PDF attachment.

To download the official PDF receipt, you must log in to your dashboard.

Who receives the notification?

  • The email is sent only to the Billing Contact Email listed on the account.

  • Sub accounts do not receive this notification unless they are set as the Billing Contact.

How to download your invoice

  1. Log in to your ClickSend account

  2. Go to Billing → Invoices / Transactions
    Or visit:
    https://dashboard.clicksend.com/account/billing-recharge/transactions

  3. Select the invoice

  4. Click the option to view, download, or print

Bulk Download Invoices

  1. Navigate to Billing → Invoices / Transactions

  2. Use the bulk download option available in that section

If you experience issues downloading invoices, this is commonly caused by a browser cache issue. Please try:

  • Clearing your browser cache

  • Refreshing the page

  • Attempting the download again


Understanding “Pending” or “Payment Due” Status

When paying via credit or debit card, transactions may show as Pending for up to 7 days while the payment clears through your bank.

Important:

  • The credited amount is available immediately

  • No action is required

  • The status will automatically update to Paid

  • Any “Payment Due” amount shown during this period can be safely ignored

The “Payment Due” label will automatically disappear once the transaction clears.

Why does my invoice say "pending" even if I already paid?

Card payments can show as Pending for up to 7 days due to standard banking processing times. Your funds are available immediately and no action is required.

How do I get a receipt after topping up my account for the first time?

Credit card payments may show as “Pending” on the Transactions page for up to 7 days while clearing through your bank. There’s no need to worry - the funds are added to your account instantly and are available for use straight away.

Every transaction generates a downloadable PDF receipt.
Go to Billing → Transactions in your dashboard to download it.

A link to this page is also emailed to your Billing Contact after each transaction.
