You can send One-Way SMS in Vietnam with a registered alpha tag.
However, you can't send MMS messages.

Alpha tags
Alpha tags allow you to use your brand name as your Sender ID instead of a number. Recipients cannot reply to messages sent using an alpha tag.
To register an alpha tag, please contact support.
Alpha tag registration usually takes 30 business days.
Registration requirements
When registering an alpha tag, you will need to provide:
Alpha Tag (maximum 11 characters)
Business Name and Website
Sample Message Content
URL in the message content (if applicable)
A copy of your Trade License
Once submitted, additional forms will be sent to you by our Global Sending Specialist to complete the registration process.

Message Content
The brand name must be included in the message content.
The brand name must match the Sender ID.
Sender ID Guidelines
Sender IDs with generic wording (e.g., WEB2SMS) are subject to operator approval.
The Sender ID must reflect the company name. If it doesn’t, you must provide:
A trademark certificate as proof of ownership of the brand name.
Message Frequency Limits
A maximum of 5 messages per user per day is allowed.
Marketing SMS
Marketing traffic requires a dedicated account, separate from your transactional SMS setup.
Local regulations require special handling of marketing SMS by Vietnamese network operators.
