Website Registration

How to register your web domains and subdomains before you can send URLs in SMS and MMS messages

Updated today

If you want to send URLs via SMS or MMS, you need to register the website that features those URLs with ClickSend first. This allows us to check the website to make sure any URLs pointing to that website are safe for people to click.

Registration only takes a few minutes and helps us to stop phishing and scams.

How to register a website

Websites can be easily registered through the ClickSend Dashboard.

Registering the right web address

When registering your website, you only need to register the domain or subdomain. You don't need to register individual pages — once your website is approved, you will be able to send links to any page on that domain.

Domains

This is your main website name — think of it like your home address on the internet. For example: www.clicksend.com

Subdomains

This is a sub-site that’s connected to your main website domain.

For example: blog.clicksend.com or help.clicksend.com

You don't need to register individual pages
