How to view reports

ClickSend provides reporting and analytics tools to help you monitor your messaging activity. This guide explains how to view delivery reports and understand the information available.


Viewing simple reports

You can find information about your messages in the dashboard menu, within the ClickSend Dashboard. What you’ll see:

  • Inbound messages: messages received by your account.

  • Outbound messages: messages sent from your account.

  • Bounced messages: messages that failed to deliver.


Detailed reporting

Want more in-depth reporting? You can generate reports for SMS, MMS, Fax and Voice. Just navigate to the History section under each product menu.


Understanding SMS reports

In the SMS report, you’ll see:

  • Status of the message

  • Recipient of the message

  • Date of the message

  • Subaccount that sent the message

You can filter the report by:

  • Specific To numbers

  • From numbers

  • Contact names

  • Date ranges

  • Subaccounts

Click the ‘i’ button next to any message for more information, including:

  • Reasons for failed messages

  • Error codes

  • Message cost
    Number of message parts

  • Unique message ID


How to view SMS campaign analytics

The analytics page for SMS campaigns can show you how your audience interacts with the links in your texts. You’ll see data on:

  • Country: Shows the location of the link click. Please note, anti-malware software or VPNs may affect this data.

  • Browser: Indicates the web browser used to click the link.

  • Device: Identifies the device used. Please note, anti-malware tools may cause 'Bot' to appear in this field.

  • OS (Operating System): Displays the operating system of the device that clicked the link.

These analytics help you understand your audience. Keep in mind that automated systems (e.g., malware scanners) might skew the data slightly.
