You can send One-Way and Two-Way SMS in Taiwan.
However, you can't send MMS messages.

All sender IDs will be replaced with a shared long code and content requires to be whitelisted before sending.

Whitelisting SMS Requirements
SMS content must display the sender’s brand or company name at the very start of the message body and be included in the message content. Examples:
[BRAND] Your message text... [BRAND]
【品牌】Your message text..【品牌】- Place the brand or company name also at the end of the message content for enhanced clarity if required.
Registration requirement:
Registration Details
Alpha Tag: Up to 11 characters, no spaces or special characters.
Brand-Specific URL Information: Include full URLs and short URLs.
Phone Numbers: Submit all numbers present in the SMS content for whitelisting.
Company Information: Name, registration number, and website.
Traffic Type: Specify whether SMS messages are promotional, transactional, or notifications.
Required Documents
Copy of the company’s business registration certificate.
Copy of the legal representative’s passport or ID.
Whitelisting Required: Any phone numbers included in the message content must be whitelisted.Reply numbers aren't mandatory for one-way messages, but all provided numbers must still be whitelisted.
Brand-Specific URLs: All brand-specific full URLs and shortened URLs must be whitelisted.Avoid using shared URL shorteners like bitly or tinyurl to ensure compliance.
Additional Notes
OTP messages that include URLs or OTP codes plus URLs require whitelisting with Taiwan networks (Chunghwa, FET, Taiwan Mobile). However, pure numeric OTPs can bypass this process.
