A ClickSend account
A Pipedrive account
Install ClickSend SMS in Pipedrive
Log in to your Pipedrive account.
Go to Marketplace Apps > Explore Marketplace.
Search for ClickSend SMS.
Click Authorise
Then Allow and Install
Authenticate Your ClickSend Account
Enter your ClickSend credentials when prompted:
Username: your ClickSend login username
API Key: found here in your dashboard
Once authenticated, you're ready to start sending!
Send SMS from Contacts
In Pipedrive, go to Contacts.
Click + Person to create a new contact. (Name and phone number required)
To message a contact, open their profile and click Send SMS.
In the message popup:
Choose a Sender number (or leave blank to use a free shared number).
Choose the recipient's number (make sure it’s in international format).
Compose your message.
Click Send SMS.
Send SMS from Deals
In Pipedrive, go to Deals.
Click + Deal and enter the required details.
Open the deal you want to message.
Click the three dots (•••) in the top-right, then select Send SMS.
Fill out the message fields and click Send.
Receive Replies in Pipedrive
All inbound messages will appear in the activity logs of each related contact or deal.
Note: Inbound SMS may not work if your ClickSend account already has 10+ inbound rules configured.

You used your ClickSend username and API key (not password)
Your account has balance – Top up here

Are placeholders supported?
Yes. Pipedrive supports placeholders for First Name, Last Name, and Email.
Can I use templates?
Yes, up to 100 templates. Create them in your ClickSend dashboard.
What sender numbers are supported?
All types are supported (shared, dedicated, custom names—subject to country restrictions).
Where can I find my API credentials?
In your ClickSend dashboard.
I want to switch ClickSend accounts in Pipedrive. How?
Uninstall the ClickSend SMS app from Pipedrive and reinstall it using the new account credentials.
