Your handy guide for sending to Argentina

Updated yesterday

You can send Two-Way SMS in Argentina by using short codes.

MMS isn't supported in this country.

Available Sender IDs

You can send with a registered short code in Argentina.

Registration and fees may apply.

Shared Short code

Shared short codes are free, ready to use, and don’t need registration. Messages will be sent from our pool of Sender IDs and overwritten to a shortcode on the network side, so the number might be different each time.

Shared numbers are recommended for one-way messaging only.

Dedicated Short codes

Dedicated short codes are 5-6 digits long and offer superior throughput — ideal if you plan to send a high volume of messages.

To purchase a short code, please contact support.

Short code registration usually takes 12-13 weeks.
