What Global Sending does
Global Sending is a feature that helps you send messages to different countries while meeting local rules. It gives you one central place to manage compliance, sender IDs, and country-specific requirements.
Gives you a single place to enable countries for messaging.
Provides clear guidance on local regulations, sender ID rules, and registration.
Uses Smart Senders to automatically choose a compliant Sender ID for each country.
Helps you stay compliant without needing to research every country’s rules yourself.
Note: Please be advised that the Global Sending function is not yet available for all ClickSend clients. If the feature isn't enabled on your account and you would like to join the beta release, please contact our support team and ask to have Global Sending enabled.
How it works
If Global Sending is enabled on your account, the option can be found in the top drop-down menu.
Go to Global Sending and enable each country you want to send messages to.
Review and agree to any local regulations or carrier requirements.
Complete any mandatory registrations (e.g., business, Sender ID, or templates).
Once the country appears under your Ready to send messages list, you can start sending.
Tip: Some countries require extra steps, such as registering a toll-free number (TFN) in Canada or completing business verification elsewhere. Global Sending guides you through every step.
Why it is important
SMS regulations vary widely between countries, and carriers use strict filters to block non-compliant messages. Using Global Sending helps you:
Prevent your messages from being blocked.
Meet all country-specific rules.
Protect your business and your customers.
