SMS Number Porting Guide (ROW)

Updated 2 weeks ago

At ClickSend, we understand how important it is to keep your existing phone number when switching services. We’re happy to offer number porting for selected countries, subject to approval. Currently, we support porting for the US, UK, and AU(subject to approval) numbers. Below, you’ll find the necessary details and steps to ensure a smooth transition.

Make sure the account has enough credits to cover the prorated rate for the number.

UK - United Kingdom

To port your UK number (SMS Feature ONLY), please provide the following details:

  • Latest invoice from your current provider
  • Current carrier account number
  • Account type (business or personal)
  • Billing telephone number
  • Name of the authorized person making the request
  • Company name on file
  • Service address listed on your invoice
  • Completed Letter of Authorization (LOA)
  • Confirmation that the number is not part of a larger fixed range of numbers
  • Confirmation that the number is active with the current provider

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

READ THE LOA THROUGHLY

Please keep in mind that once the port-in request is processed, all features from the current provider will be lost.

AU - Australia

Porting numbers in Australia is subject to approval. If you're interested, kindly fill out this form.

Processing Time

Porting your number typically takes around 30 business days, depending on your current provider’s processing times.

For a hassle-free experience, we recommend ensuring all details are accurate and up to date before submitting your request. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team—we’re happy to help!
