What is Website Registration?
If you want to send URLs via SMS you need to register the website that features those URLs with ClickSend first. This allows us to check the website to make sure any URLs pointing to that website are safe for people to click.
Website Registration is an important security feature that helps to stop phishing and scams. It only takes a few minutes to register a website. You can register any website domain — not just your own.
Why?
Registering a domain tells our system the links you’ll be sending are legitimate. It also gives your messages a better chance of being delivered successfully.
Registering the right web address
When registering your website, you only need to register the website domain.
✔️ Register: | ❌ Don’t register: |
Website domains like: www.clicksend.com | Specific URLs or links like: www.clicksend.com/about |
Website subdomains like: help.clicksend.com | Website pages like: Contact, Blog, Services, etc. |
