This article outlines the current restrictions in place for sending and receiving messages in Taiwan

Currently SMS message are blocked containing URL's of any kind. This is to prevent fraudulent links from being sent via SMS. This block has been initiated by Taiwan Police.

Whitelisting is only required for:

OTP message with URL embedded

OTP message with OTP code and URL (if OTP code is pure numeric numbers, then whitelisting is not required)

Whitelisting requirements:

Please provide the following details:

  1. Alpha Tag
  2. Full message content
  3. Traffic Type

Registration ETA: 1-2 weeks.
