How to assign Email to SMS usage to a specific subaccount
You can now assign Email to SMS/Fax/Voice usage to a specific subaccount. This allows you to have more accurate reporting when viewing the usage breakdown screen.
To do this:
- Open the Allowed Email Address screen on the dashboard here: https://dashboard.clicksend.com/#/sms/settings/sms-allowed-addresses
- Edit any existing addresses you have, or add a new address.
- Choose the 'subaccount' from the dropdown.
- Click 'Save'
From now on any usage from that email address will be assigned to the subaccount chosen.
The account usage screen shows a breakdown of usage for each subaccount, so if you want a more detailed breakdown, you can add new subaccounts then assign the allowed email addresses to the new subaccount.
In the future, we'll be removing the 'breakdown by email address' on the usage page, so please ensure that you add new subaccounts and assign the allowed email addresses to those.
