How can I test incoming SMS or replies?

You can either test replies by sending to your own live mobile and replying or by generating a test reply using your account dashboard or API. To generate a test reply using the dashboard:

  1. Login to your account dashboard
  2. Click on your user profile on the top right corner
  3. Click on the 'Messaging Settings'
  4. Select 'Inbound SMS Settings'
  5. Create a new rule with the action 'URL' or 'Poll our server' depending on which method you would like (refer to our developer docs)
  6. Click 'Save' then choose 'Add test reply'.
