Block emails from sending in MailGun

Updated 2 months ago

Emails can be blocked in Mailgun when a user has issues with receiving too many automated emails- for example "Your message could not be sent. Your email address (xxx) doesn't seem to be registered in our system"

  1. Log into Mailgun
  2. Navigate to Sending then Suppressions
  3. Add Recipient's email to the suppression list- this will prevent any emails from Mailgun being delivered to the address.
  • It's important that the underlying issue of the user sending the originating email-sms/fax/voice be addressed.
  • This will only affect emails that are sent from MailGun. It will not block Autopilot emails. If you can locate the email in the Mailgun logs it can be blocked.
